Presenter:

Reverend Bob Binta

Parochial Vicar, St. Paul's Catholic Church

Fr. Binta is from Uganda, born and raised near the "Mountains of the Moon" in Rwenzori.  Praying the Rosary each night with his 12 siblings, his late parents were a source of inspiration, motivating him to enter the seminary at age 14.

In 1991, he celebrated his Holy Orders, with degrees in Philosophy and Sacred Theology. Returning home in 1996, Fr. Binta served as Financial Administrator for the Uganda Bishop's Conference and was the very first chaplain to the Catholic parliamentarians, including the country's Vice President.

Fr. Binta's background makes him uniquely qualified to share on the impact of Islam in Africa.
